The Lansing Area Safety Council is proud to be a diverse organization, promoting all areas of safety, including school and child safety, work place safety, traffic safety and home safety. On several occasions it has been stated that this Community needs a "Safety Clearinghouse" and that the Safety Council might be logical choice. Because we are involved in many different groups, we will attempt to pass information along to you as we receive it.

LESA (Lansing Environmental and Safety Association)
This group invites knowledgeable experts to speak on a variety of current safety and environmental topics. These meetings are free of charge, anyone may attend, and meetings are held six times a year at the Safety Council, 3315 S. Pennsylvania Ave., Lansing.  Typically, meetings run from 7:45 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.   For more information, email Joel Hoffman.

ASSE Lansing Chapter (American Society of Safety Engineers)
ASSE promotes the professional development of Safety Professionals. The Lansing Chapter holds meetings/tours from September through April and coordinates a One Day Safety Conference in February.  For more information, email Chapter President Craig Galecka.

Michigan Safety Conference
The largest state safety conference with over 6,000 attendees in two days.  For more information, contact Executive Director Denise McGinn at 517-203-0737, email or visit the Conference's web site at www.michsafetyconference.org

Michigan Center for Truck Safety
